Danny was drawn to the underground house scene from discovering nights in the north of England such as Hard Times and Backtobasics, which were thriving during the 1990’s. It was these experiences that facilitated the transition into production, and in July 2003 he founded Slum Science, releasing his debut ep G’s Delight on London label Resident Records.
Subsequently, collaborations with childhood friends Dan Ruck and Eddie Leader soon followed, and further releases on labels such as Deep Future, Greenhouse, Icon, Minority Music, Black Cherry and Lingo have ensued over the years. 2008 saw productions under the ‘Non Believers’ guise with fellow Slumster Dan Ruck, and has seen support from Mark Farina who included the track ‘Stasera’ on the Fabric 40 mix compilation. Aside from production, Danny is the co-owner of the record labels Hudd Traxx and Smoke City Music.
